I’ve been fascinated by puzzles my whole life. What started with little, wooden jigsaw puzzles as a toddler eventually led to me taking over the dining room table for weeks at a time as a teenager. I’d listen to the radio for hours as while making those 1000, 2000, or 3000 tiny pieces fit together, slowly revealing someone’s beautiful garden or a famous landmark. I often wondered if there was any way I could make a living putting puzzles together.
One day I realized I could.
Working as an office manager, I was tasked with making a flier for an event. Somewhere in that project it clicked: pushing these elements around on a page is just another kind of puzzle. I toyed with the idea for a while, investigated my options, and decided to go back to school to study graphic design.
IT CHANGED MY LIFE.
It was terrifying and exhilarating; it challenged me in ways I never expected. And I feel all of those feelings anew with every project I undertake.
Today, I am an independent graphic designer, specializing in print design and brand identity. I am motivated to serve my clients well, working passionately to bring their ideas to life and reflect their brands well. I’m thrilled that I get to do this for a living and I would be honored to be entrusted with your next design project.
